HR ADVISOR
I have almost 20 years of HR generalist experience with a diverse background spanning Further Education, Logistics, Transportation and Dentistry. Throughout my career I have developed extensive expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and onboarding, advising and coaching managers on HR policies and procedures, and managing complex disciplinary and grievance cases.
As a CIPD Associate Member, I am committed to my ongoing professional development and am currently studying towards my CIPD Level 5 qualification in People Management. My reason for studying is to enable me to learn about the theories that underpin effective HR practice so that I can continue to deliver a people-centred and informed approach in my work.
I had previously come to HR from a legal background having obtained my law degree and postgraduate legal practice qualification. I worked in employment law and enjoyed it so made the switch to HR. To me HR is about making work fair for all.
I enjoy watching football and am a life-long Chelsea fan. I love music and am planning to sign up to a DJ course so that I can learn to mix. I also love salsa dancing and long walks by the sea as I live by the Kent coast.
