LEGAL ASSISTANT
I have now been with REAL Employment Law Advice 5 years and have progressed to Legal Assistant. My role within the team is to provide support to the Solicitors and Business Manager. I have mental health and counselling qualifications and my passion is creating better awareness and support in the workplace for employers and employees.
I have a strong administrative background working in many sectors of employment, litigation, ministry of defence, finance, manufacturing, engineering, local government, hospitality, housing, and community outreach. I had my own holistic therapy business for 11 years working across many sectors, including hotels, festivals and private companies. I have a passion for employment law and helping others and am an advocate for creating awareness and support for mental health in the workplace and have counselling and mental health qualifications and am a qualified MHFAider®. I have also trained with ACAS on various aspects of Employment Law.
I have lived on the Isle of Wight for over 30 years and feel lucky to call this beautiful Island home. It is a creative hub of musicians, artists, writers and so much more and there is always something interesting to see or do, I also love the diversity and beauty of the landscape.
I have a keen interest in music, play harmonica and have performed in a couple of bands. I like to produce electronic music for fun and collect vinyl and have DJ’d in many a club, pub and festival on the Island. I also have a keen interest in photography, particularly sunrises and sunsets.
