Sukhmani is our London-based Solicitor who brings a wealth of expertise in advising employees and in particular she enjoys working on discrimination cases.
Sukhmani started her legal career on the path to being a Barrister but decided that she preferred the direct client contact that comes from being a Solicitor. She, therefore, cross qualified as a Solicitor and sat exams in Solicitors ethics and solicitors accounts in order to cross qualify as a Solicitor.
Sukhmani qualified as a Solicitor in December 2010.
She has worked in private practice in the City of London, the Charity Sector, for Public Organisations, and in niche employment law firms.
She has acted for employees and employers/business owners, meaning she is able to see the employment issues from employer and employee perspective which enables clients to benefit from her various experiences.
Sukhmani’s particular areas of interest are inequality and fairness issues in the workplace, discrimination at work, and whistleblowing claims. She is also interested in advising businesses on best practice HR advice and support generally.
Out of the office, Sukhmani can often be found walking in Epping Forest or other green spaces. She also enjoys learning new things and traveling.
