Isle of Wight Day 2018

Isle of Wight Day “It’s a Knockout” Competition – Real Pests

Real Employment Law Advice battled the elements to celebrate the third ever Isle of Wight Day on Saturday as we entered a team of 10, jointly with Hillbans Pest Control, into the ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition.

The heavens opened, but spirits were not dampened and nearly 200 competitors took part in the challenge in Northwood House Park. We battled against other Isle of Wight businesses and organisations in the unrelenting rain on slippery slides and in bubble pits.

Isle of Wight Day organisers commented;

“What a spectacle to see these great businesses come together to compete in our ‘It’s a knockout’ challenge. Even with the bad weather our teams undeterred with a wetter the better attitude. really fantastic work from everyone who took part.”

We came a respectable third place, with the team ‘And in First Place’ from RPL construction winning the event.

A massive well done to all who took part and refused to be beaten by the weather.

Isle of Wight Day was created to bring the whole community together to celebrate everything that is great about our Island.

Here are some team and action shots from the day taken by Matt at BrightBulb Design.
